Today starts the 73rd Session of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) World Health Assembly (WHA). Exceptionally and for the first time, the Assembly will be organized online and with a unique point to the agenda:  the COVID-19 health response.

The WHA will be attended by delegations from all WHO Member States and focus on the agenda prepared by the Executive Board. COVID-19 is of course, as the core concern of the health community, will be the only agenda item of this exceptional meeting.

HI at the 73rd World Health Assembly

HI will contribute to the discussion with 2 statements published as non-state actor:

It is expected that the World Health Assembly will adopt a resolution on COVID-19, addressing diagnostic, treatment and vaccine. We will share further updates on the result of the discussion!
