The report describes how Syrians that are displaced currently live and how they see their future, for instance:

1/ Many people say they would prefer to return to Syria or move abroad beyond the immediate region but that they do not consider these as realistic options in the medium term.

2/ Active fighting, risk from unexploded ordinance and other physical security concerns are commonly cited by Syrian refugees as the main obstacles to return home.

3/ Most refugees in Jordan and Lebanon report being heavily in debt, which is another major obstacle to return.

The report is published on the occasion of the 4th Brussels Donor Conference on Syria from June 22 to 30, you can also find it here: https://reliefweb.int/report/syrian-arab-republic/unknown-listening-syria-s-displaced-search-durable-solutions
