In January 2018, CARE, a global humanitarian organization providing disaster relief to areas in crisis, released a report highlighting those crises that, though large, have gotten little attention. Which ones are they? Find out more.


 

CARE’s latest report, “Suffering In Silence”, is a call for the global community to help and to advocate for people in crises who are otherwise forgotten. It thus highlights ten of 2017’s most under-reported crises, naming Peru, the Central African Republic, the Lake Chad basin, Vietnam, Mali, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, Burundi, Eritrea and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
